Early breakfast at the hotel, drive to Kyaikhtiyo, 190 km to the east. It is Myanmar’s one of the most sacred place for Buddhist, a huge golden-leafed boulder balanced precariously on the edge of a cliff at the top of Mount Kyaikhtiyo. A single hair of the Buddha was enshrined in the small stupa on top of the Golden Rock. Late morning, arrive at Kyaikhtiyo base camp and transfer to the transit junction by truck for one hour. Continue for one hour of light hiking up to the summit. Overnight in Kyaikhtiyo.
After breakfast, descend to the base-camp, take truck and return to Yangon. When we arrive Bago visit the Mon style Shwemawdaw Pagoda - one of the most venerated and the highest stupa in Myanmar, 55 meter long Shwethalyaung reclining Buddha Image, Kyaik Pun Pagoda - four gigantic 30 meter high sitting Buddha images. Proceed to Yangon, on the way visit the Allied War Cemetery near Htaukkyant, ( 27,000 stone graves of allied soldiers died in Myanmar during WW II) and when we arrive Yangon visit Kaba Aye Pagoda (World Peace Pagoda), Maha Pasana Guha Cave (where the sixth Buddhist synod was held in 1952. Overnight in Yangon.
After breakfast, enjoy city tour including Sule Pagoda - the landmark of the city centre and colonial area. Walk around the Mahabandoola Park to see the colonial courthouse and the city hall. Continue visit Chaukhtatkyi Reclining Buddha Image. In the afternoon visit Bogyoke Aung San market – formally known as Scott Market, Botataung Pagoda, Chinatown and the fruit market. Overnight in Yangon.
