Yangon – Bagan – Mandalay – Heho – Inle Lake – Yangon

Day 01:Yangon

Welcome at Yangon International Airport. Welcome by your experienced guide at the airport and transfer to hotel . Afternoon, free at leisure. Evening visit the majestic Shwedagon Pagoda. Overnight in Yangon.

Day 02:Yangon – Bagan

Breakfast at Hotel. Transfer to Yangon Airport for early morning flight to Bagan (80 minutes). On arrival at Nyaung Oo Airport, transfer to hotel for refreshment. After refreshment, start to visit in Bagan including colourful Nyaung Oo Local Market, Shwezigon Pagoda, Wetkyi-in Gubyaukkyi (a cave temple with exquisite jatakas murals paintings) and the elegant Htilominlo Temple (noted for its plaster carvings) and Tharaba Gate. In the afternoon, visit Ananda (an architectural masterpiece of the early-style temple), Ananda Okkyaung (one of the few surviving brick monasteries from the early Bagan period), Thatbyinnyu (the highest in Bagan, rising to 61 m) and Dhammayangyi Temple (noted for its finest brickwork). Enjoy sunset at one of the most famous temples in Bagan. Overnight in Bagan.

Day 03:Bagan

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Myinkaba village and observe the process of traditional lacquer-ware, one of the best-known Myanmar handricrafts and a speciality of Bagan. Visit Myinkaba Gubyaukkyi (an early period Pyu-style temple of Hindu influence). Next stop at Manuha and Nanpaya temples. In the afternoon, enjoy an excursion to the countryside village of Minnanthu. A visit to some of the most interesting temples such as Payathonzu, Lemyethnar, Sinbyushin, Nandaminnya and Minnanthu monastery. Enjoy sunset by boat along the Ayeyarwaddy River. Overnight in Bagan.

Day 04:Bagan – Mandalay ( Mingun & Sightseeing )

Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Mandalay. On arrival, check in hotel and boat excursion to Mingun (01 hour) along mighty Ayeyarwaddy River. During the river cruise, we may enjoy the fascinating landscape of the river as well as the daily life of the people living along the Ayeyarwaddy. Visit Mingun pagoda - unfinished pagoda & the biggest ringing bell of 90 tons, the unusual Myatheindan pagoda then back to Mandalay. After lunch, visit Mandalay, sightseeing include Mahamuni Buddha Image (one of the most venerable statue of Buddha covered with gold leaf), local artisan’s workshops of gold leaf making, woodcarving and marble, Shwenandaw Monastery (Golden Palace Monastery, noted for its exquisite woodcarving), Atumashi Monastery (the incomparable Monastery) and Kuthodaw Pagoda with its 729 marble stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures (known as the world’s biggest book). Enjoy the sunset from Mandalay Hill where we can admire the beauty of Mandalay city, Shan plateau etc. Overnight in Mandalay.

Day 05: Amarapura - Saging - Ava (Inwa)

Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Amarapura (01:00 hr), an ancient capital of Myanmar, where we can observe the life of over 1000 monks at Mahagandaryon Monastery & silk weaving factory. And then proceed to Sagaing, where we can observe the fascinating landscape of the Ayeyarwaddy River from serene Sagaing Hill, the place of over 700 monasteries, Kaungmudaw Pagoda-the magnificent dome remarkably seen from far away, silverware workshop, etc. Continue to Ava (Inwa) and visit by horse cart. Sightseeing includes Maenu Okkyaung Monastery-built by the chief queen in 1818 for the venerable chief monk is the unique brick type building of 19th century, Nan Myint Tower-27 meters masonry high is declined due to the earthquake in 1811, Bargayar Monastery-well known for its wood carving with 267 teak pillars. Come back to Amarapura and enjoy the sunset by crossing over U Bein Bridge. Overnight in Mandalay.

Day 06: Mandalay – Heho – Inle Lake

Morning, breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for the flight to Heho in Shan State. On arrival at Heho airport, continue by car to Nyaung Shwe jetty. On the way, enjoy the scenic beauty of Shan plateau and ways of life of hilly region. A full day tour of Inle Lake by private boat includes Lotus thread & silk weaving looms at Inn Paw Khone village, Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda and the most venerable pagoda on the lake which houses 5 images of Buddha completely gilded, Nga Phae Chaung (jumping cats monastery) with beautiful antique Buddha statues. We can also have a chance to see the leg-rowing fishermen, wonderful floating gardens and a floating villages. Overnight in Inle Lake.

Day 07:Inle Lake – Heho – Yangon

In the morning transfer to Nyaung Shwe jetty by private boat and then drive to Heho Airport for the flight to Yangon. On arrival, transfer to hotel. Afternoon, visit Sule Pagoda which is the landmark of the city, shopping at Bogyok Aung San (Scott) Market. Continue to visit Botataung Pagoda, China Town and the fruit market. Overnight in Yangon.

Day 08:Yangon

Morning visit Chaukhtatkyi Reclining Buddha Image and Karaweik Royal Barge (a royal floating barge on the Kandawgyi Royal Lake, for photo stop). Transfer to Yangon Airport for departure.
